A Day Off

Today I had a day off.  No kids, no subbing.  A little side trip to hunt for Emma's boots.  An unsuccessful one at that.  I saw the kids off this morning and went back to bed.  Didn't sleep though.  I turned on the tv and remembered that I've been meaning to program the remote for, like, ever now and so I did it.  Finally.  I wasted time on the computer and walked on the treadmill.  I did a 30 minute "weight loss" workout and then kept walking while I finished watching Big Love.  I've been getting the DVD's of each season of Big Love from Netflix.  I've really enjoyed the show.  A little racy sometimes.  Lots of skin sometimes.  Mostly Bill Paxton's skin.  But that's not why I like the show.  Really.  A little more lounging around before the kids got home.  I had a day off.  It was nice.
